I Fratellini

Tucked at 7624 Wydown Blvd, Clayton, MO 63105, I Fratellini delivers an authentic Italian dining experience that feels like a familiar embrace. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff create a sense of personal experience—I’ve personally savored the cozy atmosphere during weekend dinners, and it instantly feels like catching up with old friends.

I Fratellini showcases artisanal Antipasto excellence and chef‑curated plates

One standout feature is the Antipasto Plate—a symphony of flavors and textures. Imagine Grilled Prosciutto-Wrapped Steamed Mussels, silky Speck, earthy Roasted Eggplant, Zucchini, Roasted Red Peppers, aromatic Basil Pesto, tender Sliced Sirloin, creamy Gorgonzola, peppery Arugula, and more. Expertly plated, each bite balances smoky, salty, sweet, and tangy notes, revealing the kitchen’s expertise in building complex flavor layers through fresh, quality ingredients.

I Fratellini elevates Italian comfort with signature Panini creations

I Fratellini celebrates the sea with elegantly plated seafood dishes

For seafood lovers, the dish Steamed Mussels And Clams In A Spicy Tomato Broth offers a briny, comforting sip of the ocean. Additionally, the Pan-Seared Day Boat Scallops With Swiss Chard highlight sustainable seafood choices; day‑boat scallops are hand‑harvested off the coast and showcase the restaurant’s trustworthiness in ingredient traceability and eco‑responsibility.

I Fratellini brings bold flavor in every chef‑crafted Specialty “Others” dish

Beyond antipasto and Panini, the “Others” category features elevated dishes—like Grilled Speck-Wrapped Belgian Endive Stuffed With… (seasonal accents). These small‑plate creations demonstrate the authority of the chefs, who pair cured Italian meats (like Speck®) with unexpected vegetables to amplify texture and depth.

Wanted to try this place for a while, and what better day to go other than Valentine's Day and ofcourse I went with my valentine . I fratellini has very cozy, exotic atmosphere with some red decorated walls and big mirror to add to the effect. The waiters we very nice and welcoming. It was Valentine's night so the place was full and they still managed to find us a table. The service was fast and the waiter was informative, name is David (thanks David). The starter was original, plates were whole roasted Pompano and grilled beef fillet. Both plates were very tasty. The pompano is a very delicious fish and the presentation of the plate was dazzling. Beef fillet was tender and very yummy. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem in a quaint neighborhood business district on the outskirts of Downtown, Clayton-- our party of three had one of the best meals at this Italian eatery. It's a romantic dimly lit space that warrants a reservation, unless you go early in the week. They start you with a pistachio butter and warm bread loaf. Don't fill up on it-- grab an app and just wait for the entree that's to come!! Unmatched attention to service and detail, the wait staff will make your night out worry free. They predict you next need and still give you time to breath, not hovering over your every bite. House made pastas with or without meat. Fresh salads with exotic cheeses. A two-page wine list, but why not grab a Manhattan, one of the best your lips will meet! We let our food settle in and took in the ambiance before ordering and sharing two desserts. Total for 3 entrees, a salad, a round of cocktails and two desserts: $185... It doesn't have to be a special occasion to visit i Frattelini!

Always just fantastic! I love going places and you know exactly what type of food, service and price and that it will all live up to its expectations...or when you go somewhere and you already know it'll be slightly pricey but you are COMPLETELY OKAY with it!! This is that place! They knew we were celebrating a birthday and had the bubbly sent to the table...that's how you get a party started! Drinks were great, food and service were excellent! Ooh annnnd we had great parking! Grilled Zucchini was out of this world, I mean who expects grilled Zucchini to be a star?! Delicious, grilled to perfection and not wimpy, soggy, mushy, just the opposite. Scallops we almost hurt ourselves eating them, seriously, buttery firm, sweet delish! bruschetta was equally great. Stars of the evening: Pappardelle with mushrooms, Spaghetti with Lobster tail, and the Pan seared Halibut! The short rib ragu was just ok that evening, short rib seemed over cooked slightly tough and stringy but not enough to take off a star!

I Fratellini in Clayton is known for its sophisticated Italian dining and intimate dining room. Another Zoe Robinson restaurant, down the street from her Billie-Jeans. Recently remodeled and packing even more of of a knock-out decor. We start with the Olives Salad, followed by Seared Ahi. For entrees we go with the signature Tagliatelle with Prosciutto, plus the Tagliatelle with Short Rib Ragu and the Grilled Rack of Lamb. Finish with the yummy Panna Cotta for dessert.
